Every summer, heck, even every day, it is important to take a minute, sit back, and remember the small things in life. The small things are what make life truly special. A little while back, I made this post with some small things that I find Joy in and I have been in need of this little brain dump of joy again. 1. The smell of fresh cut grass
2. Summer morning yoga
3. Clambakes on and off the beach
4. When it rains after a long hot day
5. Putting your feet in the chilly water
6. Fresh cut flowers next to your bed
7. Grilling outside
8. Fresh caught fish to table
9. Firefly nights
10. Being able to garden and get your hands dirty
11. Eating fresh produce straight from the vine
12. Sitting outside after work and having it still be light out
13. The fog burning off in the morning
14. Fresh garden picked tomatoes
15. Blueberries
16. Birds chirping when you wake up
17. Being able to spend all day at the beach
18. The feeling of diving head first into the water
19. After, taking your first breathe outside the water
20. Surfing and actually being able to get up on the board
21. Buck a shuck
22. Finishing the first book of the summer
23. First boat ride
24. Spending a day on the water
25. Going tubing or paddle boarding
26. Fresh cut watermelon
27. All your favorite sandwiches on the go (sandwiches just taste better in the summer and while you’re outside)
